Here we can get a dialogue going for the launch party, for example, I'll put design ideas here for review.

Sunday 29th March (Start of British Summer Time), 4pm – 9pm/ Capacity 80 people

The Hive would like to invite supporters, friends, volunteers and fellow bees to come along and be involved in celebrating the launch of The Hive.  Performances, music, art, installations, costumery, bee dancing, bee baking, and all other ideas for taking part are welcome.

Karen – I can email out the call-out for artists/performers/people who want to be involved and then coordinate responses/ I also don’t mind doing some coordination at the event, and also potentially organise the bar.

Karen if you do the call out blurb but I'll get in touch with other cnn people and see who's up for what...

I'm also up for helping organise the bar (mead!) and probably cooking some food too (honey biscuits?)

Not sure how much time I'll have for actually making stuff like decor and costumery due to my studies and other committments, but I'll help with getting the space ready when it comes to it.

Nice one, thanks Abi.  Here's the blurb for everyone to have a look at.  Please let me know what you think and suggest changes before we all send it out to people we think might be up for helping out/ performing.  If you could give me feedback before the weekend, that would be fab.  Then we can all send it out to friends this weekend and hopefully have some responses back for our meeting on the 1st.  Cheers.  Kx

The Hive is getting ready to swarm to Portugal and needs your help in celebrating the launch of the pollination process, and so we hereby invite you to take part in Mis-bee-haviour, the official Launch Party of The Hive...
 
...at the SOUTH SIDE STUDIOS, 17 Westmoreland Street....
...Sunday 29th March, 4pm – 9pm....

The Hive would like to invite supporters, friends and fellow bees to come along and be involved in participating in the celebration.  We are looking for performances, live music, art, installations, costumery, bee dancing, baking, and all other ideas for taking part are welcome. 

If you would like to take part in anything from performance to decor to helping to set up, then please get in touch with karenveitch12@yahoo.co.uk with your ideas.
